I am a PhD candidate in volcanology, with broad interests in understanding how monogenetic volcanoes work, and in their petrological, depositional, morphological and geophysical characteristics. Current research topics include: correlation of Nisyros tephra deposits on Datça peninsula (SW Anatolia) using geochemical and geochronological methods; investigation of Central Anatolian Maars using different proxies such as UAV-modelling, geochemistry, and electrical resistivity; and power-law behaviour of scoria cones and its consequences.
